Philine: Sorry, Chris' comment was deleted: "In the end she was too fixated on her rigid plans. Some of the prospective successors are frightening."

You are right - the Brexiteers are really frightening, but Jeremy Corbyn for many English people, too. Next week I'll be travelling to England, but I would like to cancel this journey, if I could ...
Many thanks, Chris!
J'aime beaucoup cette jolie fleur
Philine: Moi aussi, merci bien, Claudine!
I have no doubt she was sincere but I disagree with everything she was trying to do and fear that her successor will send us plunging into a no deal Brexit. I voted to be in the EEC over 40 years ago and nothing has changed my view. Had we spent those 40 years trying to constructively reform the EU rather than simply whining and being obstructive both we and the EU would be the better for it.
Philine: I agree with you, Bill! Now we have a very dangerous situation in GB - I hope that the EU elections have acceptable results, in general. The results in The Netherlands and Ireland are rather positive. Enjoy your holidays! The weather is pretty.
Bleeding hearts look wonderful in bouquets of mixed flowers and greenery.
Philine: You know them well, I think the Bleeding hearts came originally from Canada to Europe. Many thanks, Mary!
I do feel for Mrs.May, it wouldn't have been easy for any politician to do her job over the past three years, but at times she just wouldn't listen, and she was always on a loser as will her successor be. Everybody but her knows that however good the deal is the Labour, SNP. and Liberal Democrats will never vote for it, all they want to do, especially Corbyn the Marxist, is to force another General Election in the hope Labour win then he and his fellow Marxist colleagues can convert our country to something like Venezuela who's failing government Corbyn worships.
Philine: I know your political opinion. The Labour Party might be quite lefter than our SPD, but I thought there is still a difference between the socialism and the marxism/communism, in Germany there is a difference in any case. I am fearing the uprise of Boris Johnson .... Perhaps Mrs. May will later be regarded as a voice of the reason. She was badly treated and hunted by her Tories and badly critisised by the press now ("stupid cow" and so on). I like her last words about finding a 'compromise' in our life. Mrs. Merkel and Cl. Juncker found quite nobler words for her. Britain is in uproar, oh, my dear, poor England I once loved so much!
Sorry, I got so carried away in my rant I forgot to tell you how much I like your picture, if I turn and look out the window I can see some of these growing in our flower bed.
Philine: I understand your feeling, I myself got a bit carried away in my rant, sorry. Yes, the flowers are beautiful and how wonderful to have those flowers in your garden! Many thanks, Brian!
i love your Bleeding Hearts Philine... the colours jump out and brightening the rainy day hare....petersmile
Philine: They are really beautiful flowers, many thanks, peter!
A lovely photo Philine. I'll keep my political thoughts to myself.
Philine: You are a clever man, Frank, many thanks!

A fine picture of those lovely flowers, in the past I had a garden and they grow there too.
For GB I hope so much that it will face a good future for their citizens, no matter what kind of results there may be...
Philine: Fine that you had a garden - I never had a garden living in big cities during my youth. I have the same wish like you, but I have also some fear considering the coming months in GB. Heel bedankt, Salima!
Theresa May was the worst Home Secretary ever - causing huge amounts of harm to perfectly innocent people through her immigration policies. It's not surprising that she turned into the worst PM - totally without any human empathy, stubborn, and ultimately devoid of common sense. She, however, is not the problem - the problem is whoever follows her.
Beautiful, Philine!
