photoblog image Sheep Saturday

Sheep Saturday

Thousands of sheep are living and working in Friesland - here  one  of the dike sheep at the Wadden Sea in Zurich/NL - it was a pleasure to observe the lambs jumping, fighting with each other or permanently baaing ..., but this one seems to enjoy his pensive rest. I have the feeling this lambie has much empathy. We walked along the dike through all the s**t the sheep had left over, my shoes are still a bit dirty and smelling of sheep.

Excuse my lack of comments today, I am taking part in the second theater seminar for OAPs at our university after watching  some plays during a theater performance competition in our city. One of the plays was dealing with M. Houellebecq's provoking novel "The submission", stuff enough for discussion.

A nice lamb, just ready for the dinner table

Your discussions sound intriguing Philine. I would be interested to know more
Philine: Haha- you are too rude today. Many thanks, Chris!
The discussions are very interesting - and so many different opinions! One of the modern dramas was dealing with sexual abuse by Catholic priests, also stuff enough for discussion.
Beaucoup de tendresse dans cette photo ..j'aime beaucoup !
Philine: J'aime tes mots, merci beaucoup, Claudine!
A fine looking Sheep

I am sure you will be able to contribute wise words to the discussion Philine
Philine: It was an extraordinarily interesting discussion on a rather high and also personal level. Many thanks, Bill!
He/she is posing especially for you Philine.
Philine: I had the feeling that he/she wanted to say somedthing to me. Many thanks, Brian!
This sheep reminds me of a teenager with earphones on and doing nothing. smile
Philine: Haha- you have your experiences and observations. Many thanks, Mary!

I can cope with both sheep poo and cow poo but definitely not dog poo. Lambie seems to be drawn to you; she knows you are a kind, caring person. Frollicking lambs are one of the many joys of spring; alas all over for another year.
Philine: I had no problem to cope with the sheep poo. I had the feeling that this lamb wanted to say something to me and that he/she could understand me. Many thanks, Alan! Good that I have this picture of Lambie to remember him/her.
So cute! What a lovely photo!
Enjoy your discussion!
