I wonder what inspires the painters, Philine
Philine: 'Humour and pathos' as Ray said. Many thanks, Lisl!
Yesterday night I watched a very moving, partly shocking documentation film about "The Children of Windermere" by ZDF and BBC, being traumatised, they come in 1945 after the holocaust to England.

There have been some very talented artists at work here. I like the caricature of the lady in the centre!
Philine: Yes, she puts you in a good mood - in these rather sad times. Many thanks, Alan!

There is a style for this type of art that is currently used. I cannot think how to describe it but, I’m sure that one day it will appear very much of it’s time.
Philine: You are well informed about this type of art. I found the crazy Oma very funny. Many thanks, Chad!
I like the middle one quite a lot.
